Good Evening Friends,
I hope everyone had a wonderful day today, the weather sure was beautiful. I jumped out of bed today, ran through and picked the house up (no Connie I did not pick the house up!) then went out to mow the lawn and I killed the mower! It made this LOUD noise and then just died. Since Steve was not home to fix it I figured I might as well go lay in the pool! Well after being in there for 2 hours I called Steve from the pool to ask him if the mower was fixed yet, he did not like the idea that I called him instead of coming in and asking! Now what was wrong with that??? New battery and we where ready to go!! mowed for a couple hours and then off to my workshop, of course after the shower!
I asked Steve to do me a HUGE favor before I left for my party and he flat out refused to do it!! All I wanted him to do is when the UPS truck came down the drive way, take a picture, when she was unloading my new catalogs, take a picture. Can you believe the nerve of him I wanted it for my blog tonight, he's no fun!!
So I guess I will have to share a couple of the cards that they are doing tomorrow. Last month one of the members asked me to do something with vellum so I figured I might as well show them the stained glass technique. Sorry this picture is a little blurry, the card is already packed and I did not want to take it out and it wasn't till I went to post that I discovered it was blurry.
Card Stock: melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink: Markers: Melon Mambo, Apricot Appeal, Mellow Moss
Accessories: Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Silver Brads, Versamark, black embossing powder
For those of you that do not know how to do this technique all I did was stamp the image with versamark, embossed with black embossing powder on the cardstock vellum, turn the vellum over so you are coloring on the back side of the vellum.
Stamp Sets: Watercolor Trio and Short and Sweet
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Not Quite Navy and Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery and Not Quite navy
Accessories: Scallop Oval Punch and Large Oval Punch
Well, it's time to hit the hay busy day tomorrow, thanks for stopping by and see you all tomorrow!

LOL, you are so funny!! First, I call my husband all the time from the house when he is outside — I thought that was normal!! Second, I doubt my husband would have taken the picture either — but I would have!! Third, love both your cards, but especially the Watercolor Trio. This is fast becoming my 2nd favorite stamp set — I’m sure everybody has the same 1st favorite.
