Stampin Up On The Grow

Hello Stamper Friends,

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day today, it was so beautiful outside how could you not?  Mine started out having lunch with 16 of my family members at Eddie'Os, then my two daughters and sister and nephews girlfriend all went over to Uncle John's Cider Mill.  They had a craft show going on, no I did not buy anything but donuts and cider (yummy) I will not tell you how many donuts I have had today!

After I returned home I jumped on the lawn mower and mowed for 2-1/2 hours and then another hour sweeping the lawn.

Now I am in my stamp room stamping away!  I had to make 16 down line cards, got those done, then I made 16 cards for the  swap for our Rubber Queens Meeting on Tuesday.

This is what I came up with, using some left over cardstock from my camp yesterday.

Onthegrow
STAMP SET: On The Grow

CARD STOCK: Certainly Celery and Whisper White

INK: Black Stazon, Markers: Certainly Celery and Blushing Bride, I used Bashful blue ink and the Aqua Painter on the jar.

ACCESSORIES: 1/4" Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon

Now I am off to bed to read, which could be a BIG mistake! I borrowed Heather's Kindle to take on the cruise, I am the type of person once I start reading I read and read and read!! So having the option to just download a book with a touch of a finger could be a really bad thing!

Thanks for stopping by and see you all tomorrow!

  1. Tamie, you card is very nice. It sounds like your day was like mine. I know you LOVE to do the lawn if for no reason other than to sit and ride and take in the sun. I spent mine fixing food and helping my husband set up the back yard for a family picnic. I too am just getting ready to shut this down and read my kindle. I believe I purchased over 20 books the first 48 hrs. I had it. LOL I really enjoy it a whole lot. TFS your card.

  2. Love the card. Warning…the Kindle is highly addictive. I never thought I’d like it, but there’s a lot to be said for being able to get a book you want in under a minute. See you next week!

  3. You will be addicted to the Kindle! I am, and as everyone has said, so much easier (and cheaper in most cases) to just push the button and seconds later have the book in your hand. Takes up no storage space either like the actual hard backs or paper backs. The card is beautiful as always, too.
