Stampin Up Elements of Style

Good Evening Stamper Friends,

WOW! WOW! WOW! What a beautiful day here in Michigan, 55 degrees and sunny not bad for January 6. To bad it's not going to stay around long (sad face) but I did enjoy it while it was here. No, I did not do anything outside like pick up sticks, dah!! I had some orders to deliver so it was a nice drive in the sunshine!

Tonight I had to make up some birthday cards and I remember I had seen a card on the website that I really liked. It's a technique that I have not done in  long time so I thought I would give it a try.

It's called Faux Silk Technique,  It's a very simple technique that looks beautiful! Just take a piece of tissue paper and stamp your design on it with Classic Ink, crinkle the tissue paper up and unfold very careful not to tear it. I used anywhere glue stick and stuck it to a piece of whisper white cardstock and then just decorate.
