Good Morning Friends,
I want to show you this card I put together, and I cannot take credit for the design of the tree as I seen a card using it at Ronda's and I cannot remember who she said had made that card. But, it is so cool! I just took a piece of chipboard and cut the template from it then just did the same as I did below using the embossing folder.
This is what the template looks like

Accessories: Star Punch, Small Oval Punch, large Oval Punch, 1/4" Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon, Frost White Shimmer Paint

How did you get the embossing to just go on the cardstock. Did you put the chipboard on the platform then the embossing folder and cardstock?
I wished I looked earlier as I just got through preparing for my Christmas Card class tomorrow. Yours is absolutely beautiful!

Love this card – Thanks for sharing! I cut out a chipboard template, however, when I ran it through the Big Shot the sides were still embossed, just not as heavy. How do you sandwich it to just get the tree to emboss? It doesn’t sound like you use the negative of the chipboard template ? THANKS for sharing !
Avis, I ended up having to cut another tree out and glue the 2 pieces together and then it ran through just fine! hope it works
