October 14 Big Shot Class

Hello Stampers,

Can you believe this, it's only 5:20 and I am posting already! It's been a day!!!

I started the day off not so good, I was sitting at my computer and happen to look out the window and discovered that 4 of the goats where out. I panicked because we have a husky that has killed 2 other goats (I hate this dog)  I looked out the window and Shadow was laying on the front porch so I thought I would open the door and try to bring him in.  Oh no, as soon as I opened the door he raised his head and spotted the goats just as I started to grab him.  I am 50 years old and way out of shape, I sit at a desk and stamp!!! So I took off running to try to get the goats back in the pen of course I did not think to take my phone with me because my husband was not home. So after chasing this STUPID dog around and around I ran back to the house and called my husband to come home. Two of the goats finally went back in the pen and I grabbed Shadow and of course he took off with me dragging behind across the Payment (did I mention I hated this dog?) So back to running around again, at this point my heart is beating so fast that I thought I was going to die and my throat hurt so bad from screaming at that dog. If I would have had a shovel I think I would have hit him over the head! Well the bad news is he finally nabbed on to one and would not let go, I tried so hard to get him off that goat, I kicked him, I screamed at him, thank God my husband pulled in about that time and helped me. Needless to say he did hurt the goat, so my husband took off to the vet with her, she is resting peacefully in the pole barn.  We won't know if she will make it or not, we have her on medicine and hopefully she will heal.  Good sign is she is eating and drinking which the vet did not think she would.  So after this ordeal I was a wreck and just thought I better calm myself with stamping.
