Happy Monday!

Hello Stamper Friends,

Well, today started off pretty early, Heather wanted to go look some more at dresses so 7:45 off goes the alarm clock!! We left town at 9:00 and was in Fowler at 9:30, store didn't open till 10:00, darn we could have slept in a half hour more!  I had a stamp camp starting at 200 so that is why we had to get over there and get back!

We walked in at 10:00 when they opened the door, had 7 dresses in the dressing room in about 15 minutes and she tried them on one by one.   Now remember I told you I could not show you the dress she said was  "The One" on Sunday , well so much for that dress!! she found  "The One" today it even made her cry so we knew it was "The One" and to tell you the truth I LOVE this dress, the one on Sunday, not so much!! It was not what she was looking for but when she put it on it changed her mind completely.  Of course I cannot show you the dress, but I did get a shot of just the bottom of the dress so you can see the detail in the dress and she said I could show you that picture.

Isn't it beautiful??? Inside each one of the flowers are pearls and rhinestones so it sparkles when the light hits it.

The lady at Becker's Bridal in Fowler was AWESOME, her name is Mona and she did such a great job I wanted to make her a thank you card so Heather can get it sent off to her:

I hope she likes it!

Today at my stamp camp I had a new stamper come, she is only 10 days old but she loved the feel of the stamp in her hand!!!

Is she not the cutiest little thing you have ever seen?  She was so good the whole time her mom and grandma was there stamping, we never heard a sound out of her. I hope she comes back again!

Well, it's been a very long day and I have another one tomorrow so I think I am heading for bed even though it's only 10:00. Thanks for stopping by and see you all tomorrow!

I also received my box of 80 swap cards today so I have a LOT of cards to show you over the next few days, which is a good things since I am going to be very busy this week I might not get to stamp.

  1. Oh my gosh — it is gorgeous!!! And that is only the bottom half, can’t imagine what the top looks like but has to be awesome. When my youngest got married, she got her dress there also. I still have it dry-cleaned, boxed, and stored under my bed ready if one of her daughters might want to go “vintage.” Actually, it is something like this dress, but not flowers in the train (but poofy). If she needs the wedding slips to go under, you are welcome to borrow (have those hanging too). Yes, I can be a pack rat when it comes to memories!!! I think I am almost as excited as you are Tamie.
    Hugs,

  2. Oh, this dress is just beautiful, Tamie. I can see how she said Yes to The Dress on this one. So glad you went to Beckers; they’ve had a great reputation for years and years. You thank you card is absolutely exquisite, too. Can’t wait to see the whole dress, even if it is a whole year away!

  3. That newest stamper is just adorable too. That picture is priceless; you’ll have to give copies to the mom and grandma! What a little sweetheart!
