Hello Stamper Friends,
Wow, I didn't think I would ever say this but I am tired of stamping today! Go figure. I have been working on Halloween things for a display I am doing for our Rubber Queens get together this week-end. I had my Mini Camp today so I was in and out of the house a million times getting things, so maybe that is why I am so tired of stamping. I have already came up with 9 cards and 5 3D projects doesn't seem like much but it's a good start. So after digging my desk out, I figure I should post and head to the basement, grrrrrr My sister is having a garage sale this week-end and I told her I would bring some things over. I could probably buy 5 tickets to Arizona if I sold everything that was down there, but I don't think I can get it all marked by Friday.
So here are a couple of the cards for my display:
Stamp Sets: House of Haunts #111574 $22.95 & Grateful Greetings #116511 $36.96
Card Stock: Old Olive, So Saffron, Basic Black
Ink:Versamark and Basic Black
Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, 1/2" Raven Lace Trim (Coming in the Holiday Mini) Black Embossing Powder
Stamp Set: House Of Haunt # 111574 $22.95
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink:Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy and Night of Navy
Accessories:So Saffron Marker, Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Well, time to go to the basement, thanks for stopping by and see you all tomorrow!
Tamie
Tamie, Tamie, Tamie!! I love these cards!! As you know, I never, ever do Halloween cards, but those owls in the trees are awesome. And the black lace really tops it off. I could take the tree and just the house (blacken the spooky ghosts so they don’t show) and make a beautiful scene like you would see on a book cover for a mystery novel. It could be an invitation to a Mystery Night Dinner (you know, where actors act out the mystery and guests have to figure out the clues to solve the mystery). Sorry, I got carried away — but goes to show you what pops into my head when I look at a card. So happy that you are showing your projects (I hope so much you take lots of pictures). Thank you.
