Big Shot Petals-A-Plenty

Good Evening Friends,

I had my Christmas Stamp A Stack Class today and it went very well, then my mother took me out to lunch for Steak and Shrimp (thank you mom!) then I came home and really thought about taking a nap since it was very early when I had to get up this morning.  But, instead I cleaned my office from the camp, then started packing for a Mini Stamp Camp tomorrow in Clio. I needed one more card to complete the 5 cards so I thought to myself I am going to make my own template. I have seen ladies using the embossing folders with a wood template so the center of the embossing is plain.  Well I went looking for that template and could not find one in the big town of Owosso. So today I thought, I am going to make my own! I took out a piece of our chipboard and cut out a oval with my Hobby Blade #102449 $4.50. Yes! it works!!!!

I sure hope the ladies like it, thanks for coming by!

See you tomorrow

Tamie

  1. Okay Tamie (yiks, I spelled it right this time), I tried the same thing and it didn’t work. We need more info girlfriend — like how did you layer your sandwitch. Or are you going to be like my sisters when they give me their favorite recipes and leave out the one ingredient that makes it taste good???? LOL, all kidding aside, this card is beautiful — I totally love it. I have 2 more cards to make for my class next week, and I am going to use this technique, but not a Christmas card.
    Sand
P.S. And I was serious about more info, as I generally take a nap during demonstrations at the monthly meetings, so would it would be nice if you shared so I can still take my nap.

  2. Ok, I think I have it — I need to use the “negative” of the cut out oval. Dah, I’ve been trying it with the actual oval. Can’t wait until I get home tomorrow night to try this!! No need to sign my name, don’t want the whole world to know how “dah” I am.
