A Wish for Peace

Hello All,

It's a happy day here at the Ackerson home, yes my husband finally loaded up the wood burner and started the heat!  Thank goodness, it's been pretty cold the last 2 mornings.  Maybe he just got tired of me going threw the house saying burrrrrr all the time! nag! nag! nag! hay what ever works, right?

Tonight I was getting ready for my Build A Bear class tomorrow morning, those little bears are so darn cute! every time I put one together I just sit there and go crazy, my husband is ready to commit me! I know a grown woman with paper bears and clothes! I will post some of the outfits the girls come up with tomorrow.

My mother purchased a stamp set to make some Christmas cards for a lady, and asked me to come up with some samples for her. Well thank God there are places to copy! copy! copy! I just tweak it a little and it's done! fast and simple, anybody could do this so called job that I have! Anyways here are the two cards I got done for her.  If you have  not purchased the shimmer paints you better put it on your wish list I LOVE THAT STUFF, you can make shimmer paper out of everything. It's hard to see it on the pictures but I used it on both these cards and I just love the finish look.

  1. I agree with you about the shimmer paint! And I just love these 2 cards. Can’t imagine what they look like in person, as I know how much the shimmer paint changes the whole look of the card. Better bring these with you to the meeting on Wednesday — this is one of probably 2 Christmas stamps that I DON’T HAVE — DARN!!
