Hello All,
Well, We are in New Mexico almost to Arizonia (big smile) Yesterday was day number 2 on the road we traveled through Oklahoma where it was 109 degrees, I swear we could have fried an egg on the sidewalk. We hit the Texas border at 2:19 and then the New Mexico Border at 5:19. We are making really good time and have been really lucky with no traffic delays. We tried to get into Arizonia last night but we finally pulled off at midnight (ourtime) in Gallup New Mexico where we stayed at the Motel 6 (Yes they kept the lights on for us). This is what we are seeing now! How beautiful
This was the sunset last night!
Well It's back on the road today, we just hit the Arizonia state line (yahhhhhh) I will check back in later today when we are moving things in. It's suppose to be 117 degrees today in Arizonia, I might just have to be the supervisor and stay in the apartment while everyone else moves things in! Yah right!
Thanks for stopping by
Tamie
Boy do these pictures bring back memories from our trip out in January this year (but the weather was gorgeous in January — in the high 70’s – 80’s). I loved New Mexico and N. Texas. The name of the old mining town I was telling you about is Jerome, on the side of Cleopatra Hill. Halfway between Prescott & Sedona, it is about an hour North of Prescott (travel time, as you can only go about 25 miles an hour up the hill/mountain). The town spans more than 1,500 vertical feet. Beautiful drive, beautiful views!!
