Greetings from Ohio

Hello All,

Well, today was a very busy day! I drug my body out of bed at 7:15 (I hate mornings) Showered and loaded up my car, ran through McDonald's for breakfast.  Cleaned two houses, delivered to three customers , filed the car up and by 3:00 I was on the road for the long journey to Cincinnati Ohio. First thing that happened I got into a traffic jam, 5 miles an hour for about a half hour (ugg) finally got out of that and then it was smooth sailing. SO I am driving this by myself and thought I could make it all the way there without a potty break, Nope!  So I called my husband to ask him if I should stop at a rest area or go into a gas station, of course he did not answer his cell phone, so I had to make the decision by my self! Apparently I made the right one because I am still alive!!!  I finally arrived in Cincinnati at 8:20, found my hotel (Mary my GPS got me right to the door, I love that lady) went in to check in, walked around with all my things, ok I am staying for one night but I still have 3 bags and a purse. The bags are stamping stuff! Can't leave home without it!!! Anyways I walk around for about 5 minutes, finally walked back out to where they took my car and asked them where do I check in???? Oh go in and up the stairs, thanks for telling me that when you took my car! OK so I found my room, walked in and about froze in my spot! So I quickly unpacked and decided I was ready for dinner.  OK so here I am by myself in the middle of Cincinnati and ready to eat!! There is this center across from the hotel with LOTS of people walking around.   So I am brave and start walking by myself! and was starting to get a little scared with the looks of some of the people standing around !  Lucky for me, my prayer was answered and I ran into 4 other girls from our group that where sitting at a restaurant outside.  They where so nice they where getting ready to leave but they stayed while I ate. Thank you girls!

So with all that behind me I did not have time to stamp anything to show you tonight so I am going to share a very adorable bag that Ronda got from one of the girls in Canada.  This is using those adorable Build-A-Bears, I can't wait to get time and sit down and play with them.

Enjoy! and I will talk to you tomorrow night, late

Tamie

  1. Oh my gosh Tamie, what in the heck are you doing driving down there by yourself and not even staying with somebody!!! Where in the heck is Ronda??? Or other RubberQueens??? I would have went with you if you had mentioned you were going by yourself — DON’T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!
P.S. You could have at least taken Melvin to run shotgun. It would have detered posssible car hijackers, just by him sitting there with a hat pulled down low over his eyes, sunglasses, cigerette hanging out his mouth, slouched down in the car, and with a shotgun resting on his shoulder.

  2. You sound like me but I never would of even gotten as far as getting in the car and going it alone in the first place. Yes Melvin should of went at least for the company to vent that road rage during traffic jams.

  3. I just wanted to Thank you for posting my Halloween Build a Bear bag! It was a super amazing shock to see it on someone’s blog!!! It really made my day! Thank you again. Lisa from London Ontario CANADA!!
