Good Evening Stamper Friends,
What a nice day we had here in Michigan today! I started out with my Stampers 10 group this morning, we only have one more month (sad face) but I recruited 3 of them so one of them is starting another group, you go Mary!!! When I returned home Steve and I went to a Open House and then back home we came. I spent a couple hours cutting and getting supplies ready for my Monday Stamp Camp and then I started looking for something different.
Well I found it, but not really sure if I would do it again, and for sure would not do it at a camp, my ladies would kill me!!!! The card I copied it from was awesome as the stamp was of a birdbath and birds and plants, but since we don't have a stamp anything like that one I pulled out good old faithful "Lovely As A Tree" This techniques is called Pyram-age or Pyramid??
Stamp Set: Lovely As A Tree
Card Stock: Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: 5/8" Basic Black Satin Ribbon and Dimensionals
There is 5 layers of cardstock, I stamped the trees on all 5 pieces and then cut my smallest piece and just kept adding a quarter of a inch to the next layers. Not sure if this is how you are suppose to do it but that's how I did it, I put dimensionals in between each layer. It's like a puzzle lining the pieces up on top of each other.
I have also been starting to sort out my card stock and cleaning out my retired colors and labeling my shelves for the new colors, it won't be long and we can start ordering from the new catalog, wooohooooooooooo!!! I still need to go throw all my ink pads, refills, markers, ribbons, etc. etc. etc. good thing I have my sale booked for July 11!!
Well it's only 11:10 but I think I might head to bed early to night? thanks for stopping by and I hope you are all having a wonderful week-end, see you all tomorrow!!!!
Tamie
