Good Evening Stamper Friends,
Today was a kind of busy day, but kind of a lazy day?? Does that make sense? I had a couple appointments, had to drive to Flint and that was about it. I ended up going to the doctors today because of my arm, you remember the story I told you the other day about falling out of my chair? Well my arm is still bothering me so I figured I better go get it checked out and sure enough $65.00 later it is fine!!! It seems like every time I have a problem I hold off as long as I can then I go to the doctors and there's nothing wrong and then it usually goes away??? Don't get me wrong I don't go to the doctors all the time usually about once a year, maybe it's just me checking in on the doctor???
So tonight I received my box of goodies, some things from the New Mini Catalog coming out soon but there was also this set: The Nicest Things and I made a card for a special friend so I wanted to share the card with you before I mailed it on to her.
I did the stained glass technique again where you emboss the front with black embossing powder on vellum and then turn it over and color on the back.

Well it's off to play with some new Christmas sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog, it won't be long and it will be time to start designing those Christmas Cards. Thanks for stopping by and see you all tomorrow!
Tamie
Oh Tamie, this is so pretty. I enlarged it and was in awe at the beauty of the embossing with coloring. Ronda is right, the Daffodil Delight really is uplifting. It has been getting harder for me to recognize a “Tamie” card, as you are really stepping out of the box lately with your different styles. I know you love your black and white and punch cards, but you really do an awesome job on the other styles. I am putting in a request to you right now for your take on a “Vintage” card using the new Distressing Essentials just so I can get some fresh ideas.
