I also have a card request from all of you! As a lot of you know and have followed me over the years you know my first grandchild was Charlotte. Charlotte turned 9years old on Saturday and then on Monday she had a doctors appt for a checkup. Heather mentioned to the doctor that she had been peeing a lot and drinking a lot. Well they checked her for sugar and her level was at 600. They sent her right to the hospital where she was up there till a couple hours ago.
She has type 1 diabetes, this is going to be such a life changing event for all of them. Charlotte was in Beaumont in Royal Oak and I have to share some pictures with you:
First she had a therapy dog named Toby come to visit:
Then she had some Disney characters come to visit and leave her a gift:
Then dad got to learn how to do her insulin:
Then Charlotte got to show dad how it feels to get a shot:
