Hello Stamper Friends,
Sorry I have been missing the last few days! We took off on Sunday morning at 7:00 and headed down south to North Carolina to help move my niece and her family.
The 26’ U-Haul fully packed and ready to go:
It’s been a long few days and LOTS of boxes, this is only half of them as we have emptied a lot of them.
But we are getting there:
Tomorrow we have to find a recycling place to get rid of all those boxes plus more. They brought a lot of new outdoor furniture so all those boxes have to go too.
We are using the outdoor furniture indoors till they go shopping!!
It’s a beautiful place here in Sunset Beach, but I really think they picked an over 50 community because they are the youngest family here and their girls are the only kid LOL. There are like 50 houses here now and when they are done there will be over 300 so hopefully some kids move in🙂
Tomorrow’s job:
It’s been like 89 degrees with a heat index of over 100 so it’s not fun working outside. A lot of this will go up in the attic above the garage so it’s going to be 🥵 lots of breaks!!
I know the kids really appreciate Steve and I helping them, as they have told us several time. By the time we leave they should be able to relax and enjoy their new home.
Time to hit the hay!
